I have had a few people tell me that I should blog more about my current job since it is a little irregular. One of the main reasons that I am looking at law is that I am currently the studio manager of a recording studio and I want to pursue intellectual property and/or entertainment law.
I have been the studio manager of Morrisound Recording for about four years now and I have worked here for a total of five years. Before that, I worked for a record label called Bodog Music and managed a music venue called The Masquerade (now The Ritz) in Ybor City, Florida. I have also had the pleasure of being on the road with bands like Underoath, Poison the Well, Everytime I Die, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Chiodos, Paramore and Meg & Dia; some of these, I spent more time with than others, but I cherish the time spent with all of them none-the-less.
I have extensively worked with some great bands during my time here at Morrisound and my clients are great.
This morning, I received a package from Chile. I of course assumed it was a bomb or cocaine and eagerly opened it. Which is when I produced the following box:

At this point, I assumed they were cigars and got pretty excited. Also, a custom-made cigar box is a pretty nice touch. Until I opened up the box and found the following:

No cigars. I can’t say I was disappointed for too long, though, as I quickly realized that these were Chilean chocolates. My Health: 0. My Gluttony: 1.
Thanks to the guys over at Santiago All-Stars for the box of chocolates. They are much appreciated. If you like orchestral latin-jazz, check them out. They are a great group of guys.
Santiago All-Stars: Santiago, Chile
